CBMI and Holcim Philippines signed the contract for La Union cement plant renovation

On July 7, 2021, CBMI and Holcim Philippines signed the contract for La Union cement plant renovation. Tong Laigou, executive director and general manager of CBMI, Horia andrian, executive president of Holcim Philippines signed the contract respectively. The signing ceremony was held simultaneously in Beijing, China and Manila, Philippines.
The project is located in bacnotan, North Luzon Island, Philippines, about 307km away from Cemex solid K4 clinker line project which is also implemented by CBMI. At present, modification and production capacity increase will be the main investment direction of Holcim Philippines and other cement compaines in Philippines. This contract is the second cooperation between CBMI and Holcim Philippines.The signing of the contract laid a good foundation for CBMI to further expand the business of LH group in Philippines.
